The Directory of Open Access Journals’ service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals. They aim to cover all subjects and languages. There are now 1514 journals in the directory. Currently 383 journals are searchable at article level. As of today 71564 articles are included in the DOAJ service.

Science's Next Wave is a career development magazine, updated weekly on the Web, published by the AAAS and the research journal Science. Next Wave has both European and North American editions and aims to provide early-career scientists with the tools, insight, and advice needed to discover the vast range of career options open to them. Next Wave highlights first person career experiences - in both research and non-research positions - in academia, industry, and elsewhere. In addition helpful tips for Ph.D studies, and news on scientific funding and the job market appear regularly.
